8 month old & sippy cup?

Totally try it. It isn't going to hurt right? We gave my oldest one when she was 6 months old with juice and my daughter only drank from a sippy cup from the time she was 10 months old. It was so easy to wean her from a bottle! I just didn't give it to her anymore and only gave her milk, or juice in a cup. She didn't care at all. Good luck. My niece on the other hand is 2 and still has a bottle all the time it drives me insane. Her mom calls it a baba and I don't think she even tried to take it away at all. Sippy cups are so much better for their teeth and my 1 year old does really well with cup and a lid with a straw.
