How long should i be in pain after having 15 teeh pulled and having immed dentures top and bottom put in?

Its been 6 days since then and i am in alot of pain still. I feel i should be able to stop taking and asking for pain medicine, but in the morning and late afternoon i am in tears with the pain. Still can not chew food, only can drink food which sucks. Any help would be great. I am also taking Ibuprofen 800mg and Tylenol.
