I have a question about Halloween?

For those who are religious and spiritual, how do you justify allowing your child to partake in the tradition of Halloween and still be content? It is obviously a demonic occasion, and definitely has a dark origin? Whether you dress them like an angel or demon, aren't you still celebrating evil?
