Help! One month old is always hungry!?

My baby will be a month tomorrow and is taking 3 1/2 oz every 1.5-2 hrs. and sometimes starts to cry a half hour after feeding. I give her an ounce more and that seems to suffice. Should I just up her feedings to 4 or 5 ounces? She always finishes her bottles and rarely spits up. And she frequently has gas. I give her mylicon but I don't think it helps. I don't want to overfeed and don't see the ped until next monday.

It's not GERD. Has your doctor done a test for H-Pilori? It's a bacteria that causes abdomin pain when eating, sometimes feels like an ulcer. It also feels like GERD symptoms. It's not something that a blood test, an EGD, or a CT would pick up. Stay on that Nexium. My best guess is H-Pilori, or IBS (irrital bowel syndrome). IBS is super common and the only real way to treat it is to find the foods that irritate it the most, and avoid those foods. I have a little bit of IBS and I know that mexican food, salsa, ice cream, and other things all trigger it. When I avoid those, i'm good. Good luck tho. Get the H-Pilori test done.

1997 Ford explorer brakes?

I have absolutely no brakes on my explorer when you push the brake pedal down it goes all the way to the floor. I have had 3 people look at it and everyone tells me something different. We thought air was in the brake lines so we tried to bleed the brakes that did no good. Thought the Calipers were bad changed them still no good. Look up the British Dyslexia ociation or ACLD in Ireland, it will give you all the information you need. If it is concerning a child in primary school have a chat with their teacher, the child may not have dyslexia at all but a global learning difficulty, which means he/she will need help in all subjects. Dyslexia is very hard to diagnose and is only now during the past 5 years or so that it is becoming accepted as a disability. You can email the Irish ociation at acld@iol.ie and they will send you all the relevant information. I have one child in her adulthood with dyslexia and a younger child with global learning difficulty and if it wasn't for the schools and the ociation I'd be climbing the walls by now. When I received my first and only Debt Collector call, I freaked out. I had excellent credit, I paid all of my bills early and on time, I managed my credit cards, and budgeted my spending. I could not figure what had happened. Well, come to find out that the automatic debit I had set up to pay for my new laptop "errored-out" six months prior as the bank explained. No attempt was ever made to contact me and it was such a small amount that I never noticed. I explained the situation to the Debt Collector three days later and I was returned with rudeness, sarcasm, and apathy. I was told "we don't care about the reason. We're here to collect the money." I was told to pay an impossible amount or else. I was cussed and yelled at, lied to and belittled. Every time i call I get a different conflicting story. I want to know how many other good people are suffering and is there anything we can do collectively to stop the mistreatment.

I actually have a mom very similar to this. The most you can do is just show her how much you love and her and try to change the subject when she brings up the sad things. Also, try to get her to go to a psychologist, they really REALLY can help if she has an open mind. Mine has helped me a LOT. Maybe you can also check if she's clinically depressed, because there are pills to help for that as well. Just show her love and keep in close touch with her. :) I wish you the best of luck.

You have belief in a higher authority, so keep praying to God to give you help and guidance, ask him to ease your burden and help you with the anxiety to get through this time of stress you are experiencing. God tests his followers, so you are in a test which you must endure through to get to the other side. These tests always take much longer than we humans would like them to take (been in a few myself, still in one, have great empathy for your issue of anxiety and sometimes feeling hopelessness) but God has some purpose for them to help you grow as a person and develop a higher spirituality and maturity. But that will only happen if you make the effort to develop the relationship with God and follow what he wants you to do. I cannot suggest a magic cure, there are none, but I hope this was helpful. I've trained horses........................horses that have been handled by people. I have never done this, so its a new experience :) I have acquired two horses that are 3 years old that have never been handled! They are the sweetest girls ever once you chase them around and catch them. They've been "halter broke" which means they have gotten halters on and walked around a bit but wont come up to you, they wont let you catch them and they are so fearful at the slightest touch. Does anyone have any idea on where to start? Each person is different. However I am a skydiver and I know the forces involved if your goggles come off. Its not going to be good for your eyes. My suggestion is rebook your skydive to a minimum of a month afterwards, preferably 6 weeks. Its not worth the risk and to be honest if a dropzone finds out that you had the operation, they would probably ask you to wait.

I want to level & tile a fire hearth?

We've opened up the fire place in our play room and want to paint the brick inner and tile the floor/hearth. The floor was originally carpeted and then we've exposed the floorboards and they've been sanded and varnished. The hearth was basically dodgy concrete, which was in pieces, laid on top of a damp proof membrane. Below that is just sand. We've been told to fill the holes that go through to below ground level and then use a base of sand & cement wet mixed. We've done this and now I'm just wondering whether we should put back down, on top, the damp proof membrane? I've looked at other questions for preparing uneven floors for tiles and they all suggest using a floor leveling compound. It's suggested that should be good enough to use for tiling with either laying board first or buying a special cement prep for tiles? My problem is that my husband feels we should use the floor leveling compound straight on top of the sand & cement mix but I feel we should lay the DPM? He thinks it will shift as it's not adhered to anything as it will just sit on the dpm. Unfortunately I'm sure at some point in the past I'm certain this fire had a lovely stone hearth which we could have used as is or would have at least served as a solid base to start from! Any help on this would be really appreciated. Just a note that it's a small area not for general walking on but will be just a feature in the play room and the tiles will probably be white/grey brick tiles 15x7.5cm. Thanks

You will need, lemon juice, a bowl, and something to buff you nails with. Ok so this will take couple days so don't expect it to be poof gone. So pour the lemon juice in a bowl and soak your nails in there for 10 mins. Buff the polish and if you want to use some nail varnish remover. This works because lemon bleaches the color and buff helps remove the color. Don't buff to hard and this works for nail stains too

Friends going to do school shooting!?

Ok so I have these 2 friends. They are Indian like me. Ive known them ever since Kindergarten but they have gotten bullied seriously over years and it still continues with jocks calling them names and girls making fun of them also. Anyways they were bullied verbally ,racially and physically. Now im in my last year of high school and so are they. Anyways they are currently seeing a psychologist in school because of their problems but this doesn't seem like its helping. Both of them are pissed off at the jocks and popular girls for humiliating them throughout their 4 years of high school, so in return they want to do a school shooting which im terrified of. Both of these guys invited me to join them on their spree they said they dont have access to guns but they are going to bomb the school because the bullies called them terrorist because of their nationality. They also said that since they will kill themselves after the bombs go off they want me to plant two more bombs so all the people they didnt kill who are going to waste will also die. They want to bring in 4 propane bombs put them all on the main entrance floor so its enough to collapse the entrance floor of the school. They already laid out a set of instructions and Maps on how the attack will take place. They are purchasing the items at a local hardware store with money from their part time jobs and their savings. I think their really going to do this what should I do please give me advice!

New puppy in home with established dog?

I have an Australian Cattle dog x border collie and a Belguim Shepherd cross border collie and my partner has just recieved a border collie puppy. I want advice from people who have had a puppy settled into a home with established dogs so i can make this as easy as possible. Today is only day one and i am being sure to fuss my current dogs and praising them when they sniff or show positive behaviour to the puppy - but at the moment - if the puppy tries to approach them and lick them or something - they growl warningly. The puppy backs off and if it doesn't they snap and it does so the dominance thing seems to be established but i want this to be as easy and encouraging as possible for all animals. I am feeding my dogs in smaller meals to coincide with the puppy and the puppy has her own bed. Both dogs are tending to avoid her. Please - any tips that help would be great.

wow...I thought I was the only one with this problem. I have a gray manx, she is 6 years old and the smartest cat I have ever had. She has the sweetest personality also, her name is Blue....She has what my vet called an incontinence problem, similar to what happens to people when they go into a deep sleep and wet the bed. They kept her overnight (4 yrs ago) but couldn't get a specimen for some reason and at that time I couldn't afford to keep leaving her there. So, I make her sleep on a special folded soft towel that I wash frequently. She doesn't always sleep on the towel so I am doing my blankets a lot. Its a pain in the , but I just love her and she doesn't do it on purpose. Usually it is just a small spot, but smells bad after a while. Totally try it. It isn't going to hurt right? We gave my oldest one when she was 6 months old with juice and my daughter only drank from a sippy cup from the time she was 10 months old. It was so easy to wean her from a bottle! I just didn't give it to her anymore and only gave her milk, or juice in a cup. She didn't care at all. Good luck. My niece on the other hand is 2 and still has a bottle all the time it drives me insane. Her mom calls it a baba and I don't think she even tried to take it away at all. Chihuahua crate training help?

He urinates good outside but holds on to #2 and wants to do it in the house. why is he doing this? eventually I have to tie him on the long leash outside then he does #2 there. Prior to that he was going all over the house and ds driving me crazy. I just got him 2 months ago and he was born August last year. I was told he was trained but once he got here he started roaming freely all over the house and marking his territory. The smell really bothered me and I had to mop and disinfect the house frequently. I work different shifts. but when I am home I took him out frequently and he would not empty out completely, he would hold some in to do inside. He only did #2 once (the first day he came, then never again) he would do it inside in different spots around the house. I bought expensive sprays to train him out, all useless. I've had pain in my hip joints for several years now. I am 32. Mine is always located in the ball and socket, a dull, radiating pain, that gets worse if I move my hip. Like you, mine is always on the side that I sleep on. I have been to the doctor for mine, and it turned out to be arthritis. I have always been up and down the scale( what woman isn't), and mine is always worse when I am heavier. I was prescribed an anti-inflammatory, and rest. When you took music lessons as a child, when did you go through a rite of page?

I basically liked the piano ever since I started lessons, but would get bored when I practised. It was only when I discovered the wonders of chopin (woot!!) that I found practising piano to be enjoyable, fulfilling, satisfying, gratifying, whatever words you wish to describe it. It is absolutely his 1st Amendment right. I'm not sure he chose the best way to protest this (I don't know that being denied a liquor license calls for distress signals, though I suppose his property was in peril and that is indeed considered reason for flying the flag upside-down). However, having had his First Amendment rights stomped on certainly is cause for distress. If the government itself is responsible for a loss of rights, when the government renegs on its promise, I definitely think that is cause for distress and it is appropriate to use the flag to express that distress.

I really like how they turned out, so now I am going to get a few more blonde highlights and then I will eventually just go all over blonde. It also depends on on dark your eyebrows are. If you have dark eyebrows, then I would highly suggest just starting out with some highlights like I did. You are not expected to bring anything to a tattoo studio except your I.D. Of course, if you have specific wishes for a piece that you want the artist to specifically convey, then it would be a good idea to bring a little something that at least gives a hint at what you desire. Anything else, you can fill in the blanks and let the artist know what you want. I think what you have is actually more than most can come up with. Some people just bring mediocre scribblings at best and expect an artist to make it better, which of course they can, but it's silly really. You'd be better off just using your words to describe what you want. But anyways, I think it sounds like a great piece of art you want in memory of your grandad. I would not be "pissy" if you brought that to me, and neither would any other professional artist with a proper business-like demeanor. And yes, custom artwork will cost you extra, but nothing so extreme that it will break your bank. Best of luck with your tattoo.

I think you are very mature over this considering you are only 20. The mother has problems and your guy seems to handle it very well indeed. A birthday party for a kid with cancer?

My brother was just diagnosed with medulloblastoma and will be starting chemotherapy in 3 weeks, after his surgery on tuesday. It's brain surgery so I know he won't be feeling great after that, plus all the nausea from the chemo afterwards. His birthday is February 3rd. My dad is a wreck right now because of the diagnosis and the loss of my mother. The last thing he's thinking about is throwing my brother a party. But my brother is going to be 7 years old and I don't want him to miss out on anything just because he's sick. Is there anything I could do? Any ideas? Or should I just get him a gift and that's it? I personally feel that today's hip hop and rock and roll really sucks. Like the hip hop for one is getting so bad that I don't even listen to it anymore. It really disappoints me because in hip hop all you have to do is repeat the same thing over and over and put a beat with it and it would sell. Like Soulja Boy for one. The first exorcist was an American horror clic and a must see if you love films, you can skip the sequels unless you just love to watch b movies. Shawshank Redemption is just a great film and an awesome story from Stephen King. Both films are definitely worth a look if you can get them. Shawshank is one of my favorite movies of all time.

The question of why he did such a thing will be debated for many years. Some see it as a personal obsession with Iraq, some see it as faulty intelligence that linked the two. For me, I tend to think it was a combination of the two. Whatever the reason, we're stuck there now and it's clear that Bush is beating a dead horse.
