I can't decide between the boy version or the girl version!?

My husband is Italian so we decided to pick Italian names for our children that can be easily shortened to "normal" names. Our first son is named Benicio but his nickname is Benny. We are having a hard time deciding on our second child's name. We both really like the names Luciano and Luciana (remember Italian names have c's pronounced like "ch"). Luciano would be shortened to Luke or Lucky. Luciana would be shortened to Luci, Ana or Lulu ("Lulu" will most likely be something that I only call her). Any opinions on either name? We really love both of them so much that we can't decide, but they're so close that I think it would sound stupid to use both. Opinions, anyone? Thanks!
