Am i able to file 1099 R form if taxes were withheld from pension payments AND if I did not work last year?

I am the beneficiary of my late fathers pension. As far as filing taxes i am confused about the 1099 R . Am i able to file this form if taxes were withheld from pension payments AND if I did not work last year? I reside in Missouri
