What's the big fuss about Trainspotting?

well what I got from the movie is that no matter how much of a "sbag" society things you are everyone still have dreams and hopes.... Renton left with all the money but he still was able to do something nice for Spud.... I admit alot of the movie was kinda over the top in your face type crap.... pun intended when they are eating breakfast.... but it shows or at least I felt it showed that most people try and do good for other people.... Bigby being the accepetion.... you should watch it maybe two to three times and you will get to know the charachters and see what they are struggling with and what they would change and what ultimitly happens to them all....
