Annoying pimple i popped it and im wondering why it has not gone away!?

i havent had pimples in a week since i have decided to take care of my face and not pop them. but i have had this pimple on my cheek and its annoying i popped it like 2 weeks ago then it turned yellow again and i popped it again so now its just a brown scab but its been like that for like a week now its also vey big wat can i do to get rid of them. i also popped a whole bunch of pimples on my arms and their all red when do u think the redness will go away for that or how can i resist popping my pimples. thx
