I want to buy a new car, any recommendations?

I live in the Uk and want a Diesel Automatic (Turbo) I have looked at the Skoda Superb 2.0ltr and also had a look at the Seat, but don't do automatic. I want to keep the price down and need a Medium size to Large car any suggestions and any feedback on price deals, performance, tips etc.
